Bette Jaedicke: My passion for life is reflected in my use of color and my impressionistic technique. I paint with boldness, flirting with brushes and palette, taking risks. I allow myself the freedom to work intuitively, composing with undefined edges, using sopntaneous brushwork, adding color spots, giving my paintings a sense of movement and energy. While challenged by the strong statement onee can make with oil, I also enjoy the unpredictability of the delicate medium of watercolor. My current focus is on oil painting (florals and still life) and animals faces in watercolor.
