Artists’ Bio

James E. Mosley Jr. was raised in Englewood, NJ and spent summers on Martha’s Vineyard, MA. At an early age James became interested in photography, taking pictures of family gatherings, macro-photography of nature, open landscapes and the diverse scenery of the lighthouses, boats, buoys and fishermen. Searching to capture the ever-changing light and colors of sunrises and sunsets on the water, these seascapes became his specialty. James is a graduate of Berklee College of Music.

James met his wife Leen De Weerd-Mosley in 1990 in Boston. Leen is from Antwerp in Belgium. Leen gave James her craving for travel photography, and they have taken many trips together throughout Europe and America.
